a junkyard for the mind

Honestly it was shocked me when I heard that one of my cousin is getting merried, I never heard  that she is in serious relation with somebody after she break up with her previous boyfriend.

The wedding ceremony was held last Sunday, Though she knew this guy for couple months yet she decided to marry him,  “Teh Maya” (I used to call her) looks so happy during the ceremony, in fact that she is 5 or 6 years older then me, she is a litle bit late to get married comparing to the mean marriage age for woman,  but anyway, marriage is nothing to do with age rite ?

All of my (big) family member start questioning me: "where’s your invitation?", “next will be your turn ya ?”
“You are 31 son…, only 3 guys left (incl me) in our grandchildhood generation who are not merried yet and You are a marriageable man”. my uncle said.

For God sake, I am 31, and  I will get merried as soon as I able (want) to do so. But I don’t need to hurry, I won’t married because other want me to get married
I promise by the time that takes place I will announce you people. Give me a break! , Nevertheless, thanks for the kind attention.

Anyway, I am happy for You ‘teh ….

Actually I didn’t do much interesting this week, everything has been going slow, but last day was my lucky day, I have successfully made an agreement for two projects with one of the state owned enterprises. PT Wijaya Karya, a strong corporation with its four main business pillars that include construction, manufacturing, trade and realty.

One is an improvement for their portal and knowledge management application, FYI : last year we developed those applications  for this company and this year they want to make an improvement (new features and security enhancement)
Second is a project monitoring and control system development, the application which use to control and monitor project activity and project budgeting.

My proposal for those projects was submitted couple months ago, and they asked me to give an explanation about my proposed solution two days ago, we didn’t have many differences about scope of work, because it’s already  discussed before.
Although  we had a long discussion about the price … (my proposed price is higher than their budget), but finally we got a win-win amount as a final price for each project.

Actually I am still waiting for another project with PT.Wijaya Karya, they asked me to make a solution in order to improve their accounting system. Proposal has already sent, scope of work has already clear but we haven’t reach an agreement about the price. Hopefully we’ll come to an agreement this month and start the project on April 2007.    

Well… busy day just right away, two projects with tight schedule already began, just see how far it goes before we finally snap.

Since blogging become the popular activity on the net, making money on the web is becoming a bigger topic.  Every day, I see more people talking about how to do it, or how much they’re making.

Blogging for money works best when you’re writing on a topic that you’re both knowledgeable and passionate about.  And you have to regularly update your blog to ensure that your readers will have your updated knowledgeable and passionate articles.

Anyway, I won’t start out to become a pro-blogger, and still don’t have that goal in mind.  I just want to use my blog to dump my thoughts, my opinions, my work activities or anything else,  a junkyard for the mind.  But I’ll try to write something that’s worth reading,

I will also write about my frustration, depresion or love life but in another category, in case you don’t want to know or (don’t give a damn) about my personal life.

Hopefully I can maintain this website and give an update regularly.
